Swift Despatch is aware of the environmental implications that a parcel delivery company can have and takes these issues seriously; always ensuring they are considered during the decision making process.
We try to minimise the environmental impact of our activities wherever we can by a variety of means. These include:
- Promoting the efficient use of resources throughout the Company’s operations
- Reducing waste created through our operations and using recyclable materials wherever possible
- Educating staff so that they carry out their activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Encouraging recycling and re-use.
- Taking measures to prevent and minimise our negative environmental impacts, and responsibly managing those that can’t be readily eliminated.
- Ensuring compliance with national and international environmental legislation as a minimum standard and continually aiming to improve the environmental effects of our activities
- Communicating openly with suppliers, customers, employees and the general public to develop a mutual understanding of our environmental responsibilities.
